How we engage

IAIDF can support exploratory pilots, implementation capacity, applied research, and institutional partnerships where AI can produce clear public benefit.

Program development and formal application details will be published here as the foundation expands.

Public-interest AI is central to IAIDF's funding model. We look for opportunities where philanthropic capital can help institutions adopt AI in ways that are useful, responsible, and broadly beneficial.

That includes practical systems that improve access to essential services, strengthen nonprofit and public-sector delivery, or help mission-driven organizations use AI without compromising accountability.

We are especially interested in work that combines technical capability with implementation discipline, governance awareness, and real-world institutional uptake.

  • AI applications with direct social utility
  • Deployment support for credible nonprofit and public institutions
  • Programs that reduce barriers to responsible AI adoption
  • Shared tools, standards, and operational knowledge for mission-driven use cases
